Is it free to use FastenerHub as a buyer?+
Yes. Posting a requirement, browsing suppliers, and searching products are all free — there is no charge on the buyer side.
What does the "Verified" badge on a supplier mean?+
The supplier's GST number has been checked against the government GST API, not just self-declared. It does not certify product quality — always confirm specs and samples directly with the supplier.
What is the "Trust score"?+
A composite 0-100 score built from GST verification, overall verification status, the number of verified certificates on file, and whether the supplier has declared a business type — a quick way to compare suppliers at a glance.
Can I search by an exact spec like "DIN 933" or "M10x1.25"?+
Yes. Use the search filters for standard, material, thread type, diameter, head type and drive type, or just type the spec directly into the search bar.
Will suppliers see my phone number immediately?+
Your enquiry is routed to matching suppliers in your category and city. Full contact details are revealed to a supplier once they respond, so you won't be cold-called by every supplier on the platform at once.
How is FastenerHub different from a general B2B directory?+
Every category, material, and spec filter on this site is built specifically for fasteners — bolts, nuts, screws, washers, rivets, studs, pins, anchors, and more — instead of being one category among thousands of unrelated products.
For suppliers
Is listing my products free?+
Yes, creating your company profile and listing products has no fee. There is a small credit cost only when you unlock a routed lead's contact details (see below).
What are "lead credits"?+
New suppliers get a free signup bonus of credits. Unlocking a routed enquiry's contact details costs 1 credit — this keeps the lead queue meaningful instead of every supplier blasting every buyer.
How do I get the GST-verified badge?+
Add your GST number in your profile and trigger verification — it's checked automatically against the government GST API, usually within a few minutes.
How do I get more visibility / rank higher?+
Verification, a completed profile, certificates, and — most importantly — your response rate to enquiries all factor into your ranking. Slow or no responses drag your visibility down over time.
I have a large product catalogue — do I have to add products one at a time?+
No. Use Bulk upload (CSV) from your product list page to list dozens or hundreds of products in one upload; categories are assigned automatically.
Can I upload a company catalogue PDF and banner photo?+
Yes — both are supported on your company profile page, along with your logo, certificates, and factory photos.
